Each room takes about 2-3 weeks to complete, from start to finish. At the end of this time frame, you can expect to receive your customized mood board, floor plan, and shopping list. Any additional services agreed upon with the E-Design PLUS program will have additional timelines to be determined on a case-by-case basis.

What is the difference between your typical interior design services and E-Design? 

E-Design: You send us photos, measurements, answer a questionnaire, and send us inspiration photos so that we can design a space that meets your needs & wants. We take this information and in 2-3 weeks will provide you with a mood board, floor plan and shopping list that will allow you to assemble your dream room at your own pace. 

In-person: Our typical interior design services start with a 1 hour initial meeting during which we take photos of your space, establish your room requirements and design style. After this visit, we send you a fee proposal and begin the next phase of the project. For more information, please visit the "process" page of our website.

How many options will I receive with E-Design?

You will receive one initial room idea. Our designers will take all of the information you have provided and give you the best possible package for your space. If there are items that you would like to revise and need advice from our team, please contact us and we will discuss next steps. If you would like to make changes on your own, we have provided you with a detailed floor plan that will allow you to make educated decisions with the proportions and dimensions of furniture we have given you.

How many revisions do I get in my E-Design?

There are no revisions included in the package. However, we are glad to help you make decisions if you request our further assistance. Please contact us for pricing and more information.

What is included in C3D Design's E-Design Packages?

All packages include one mood board, a detailed floor plan, and a shopping list. You will also get a 15 minute phone call with one of our designers at the beginning of the process.

How much does E-Design cost?

E-Design with C3D Design charges a flat fee per room within the allotted square footage range, not per square foot. Please refer to the "pricing" page for more information.

How much does E-Design PLUS cost?

E-Design PLUS is an add-on to our standard E-Design program. This program offers clients a wide range of additional services to help take your project to the next level, such as an in-depth set of drawings (for kitchen or bathroom renovations), project management, connecting clients with some of our trusted trades, and purchasing some of the items that we have selected in the E-Design package. ​This package is priced per project, depending on specific requirements. Will I be charged per square foot for E-Design?

Our standard packages are all flat fees based on the size of your room (or rooms), not priced by the square foot. If you have an open concept space (i.e. living room & dining room), this counts as two separate rooms.

How much does traditional interior design cost?

Interior design fees vary greatly depending on the scope of the project, experience level of the designer, and several other factors. On average, interior designers charge $150-$250+ per hour, which on average equates to $5500-$6500 for the complete interior design service. This fee solely represents an approximate average of the interior designers fees. This does not include other potential fees such as permit, construction, materials, furniture, etc.
